My songs and Bootcamp

Well, July has been quite the month! I have submitted some songs to Linda Perry and am working on more recordings. Bootcamp has been delayed! Due to an overwhelming amount of people signing up in this state. So that just means more mediocure work and pay as well as, working on more music. I have become a step closer in the music feild. This month I found that I actually have a fan club! WTF??!!! Who knew? Not me! Well, I do know now and I have to say I LOVE IT!So thank you everyone that has been following my music and supporting me on my endeavers!

Yes, Drill Sgt.!

Ok...so I will fill you in. Four yrs ago my dad was an elected official for our county. While finding grantss to improve our roads and bridges, he ran across some things were people were poketing the tax payers dollars. So, he took his findings to the D.A. only to later find out the D.A. was in on it! He was given an ultimatium and chose to save his family, my mom and me, and took his own life. I thank God everyday I was the one that found him and not my mom, cause that is an image that does not go away! Needless to say, I was/am a Daddy's girl and a tomboy. He was my bestfriend and taught me everything I know. When he died, I was all set to be outta here and in the military. However, I stayed to take care of my mom. A little background on her: She started having granmal seizures when I was 2 (I'm 24 now), has had over 30 surgeries, 4 heart-attacks (1st one was on Thanksgiving Day), heart bypass, pass-maker w/defibulator, and many artery and vien surgeries on her legs, as well. That's just the top of the cake on her! So I took care of her. After dad, she had a bad break down. I put all my saddness, sorrow, hurt, and anger on the back burner for her. She is better now! However, she has become a living nightmare to be around! She has done some of the most hurtful and painful things to me. I think she is trying to drive me away from her! So, I signed up for the military and will soon have my leave date and all! I can't let my dreams fall to the side and regret never doing them! I also want to work with Linda Perry too, so hopefully I can fulfill that dream too! I will post when I am leaving an maybe give my address so I can recieve mail in training! Love ya all!!!

Get this blog out there!!!!

I know I don't have many who have seen my blog, especially since it is new. However, so great news came to me. I have a new band, well actually we are a duo. I am so excited to start this new adventure! As some of you may know, anytime you form a new group it is intence, exciting, and adventureous. Hope to have some of our music up on the web shortly. We are a different sound. Can't quite catergorize it. It's like Jack White, Janis Joplin, Lisa Marie Presley, Pink, and Gretchen Wilson all combined in a single melody. What would you call that? Hmmm.... ! So, thanks to all that have been keeping up with my craziness and my learning of blogging! Invite your friends and we can all get together and discuss what's going on in the world, our lives, and music!

My First Blog

I decided to start blogging after reading the blogs of The Dirty Ballerina. I did not know she even had a blog until a few days ago. I found her blog through other bloggers and realized it is a great outlet for one's self. Through her blogs, she encourages people to write and get it out there. So, here I am...we shall see how this goes! I usually put my thoughts in writting music, but after many losses and tradgedies in my life...I have decided to reach farther. Although, I hope and pray my music will one day be heard, I know I can reach more people now than later. I hope that through the blogs and comments people (including myself) can find comfort reading about things that happen in life. Things that people feel that they are the only ones who feel the way they do. It is also a place to share great music from wonderful artist. Music is the main thing in my life that has kept me going, therefore, it is only appropiete to include it here. Thank you The Dirty Ballerina for the nudge!
